This total-conversion mod takes the Battle for Middle-earth II to the Fifth Century BCE, replacing the original content with two new, fully-fledged factions: Sparta and Athens. Completely new content, strategies and more awaits you. This project is brought to you by Kwen, Matias, Lauri, njm1983, Glaeken and Mike who are hosted at the3rdage.net, a division of revora.net.
Here's a render of some of our new Spartan aspis shields. Used by the Spartan Hoplite unit, they will randomize upon a unit being trained, so the chances of seeing the same unit twice will not be very high. Credit for these go to TPW team member Merovech/Dorian_Grey/Matias.
Sweet, very nice choices. It was getting kinda boring to only see those generic shields with lambda...typical hollywood ******** :P
Love the variations, agree to the above comment aswell :D
Nice, and I thought the shields couldn't get more realstic, gess I was mistaken.
We have 24 shields, and there are 15 hoplites in one horde Mike.. I'd say it's likely to see the same unit twice more than it's unlikely!
That last sentence hurt my brain.
thats why its soooo QL, It would be even better, if they add shields of veterancy when unit fight long time, maybe a little more visible damage to shield, and one or more arrow in/on shield.
just my opinion.
GL whit this modd
