A little later than usual but nonetheless it’s update day!
Starting with a massive thank you for the support and enthusiasm you guys continue to show for our work!! We have a whopping 45000 subscribers on steam, we can’t thank you enough for taking the time to provide feedback and ensure our release was as smooth as it was.
On that note, some people have had questions about our steam release and what it means for our ModDB version. Our ModDB version will be updated with every major release that we make, but it will lack the immediate hotfixes and patches that we can implement via the Steam Workshop. These patches will hit the ModDB version a little later.
While this update may be a little less feature heavy, we have some exciting news to share that will more than make up for it! While we continue to work on eradicating any bugs we find and using your feedback to adjust the TOR experience, we are also looking to start something fresh. Our next update focus will take us somewhere new…
If you haven’t guessed via the logo, we are adding two Bretonnian factions to the world map! Parravon and Montfort, including a range of interesting mechanics, which we will reveal in more detail as we progress.
On the list of things to look forward to, will be our first additions to the Faith system and skill tree, some changes to the melee experience to spice things up and lastly plenty of knights!
The TOR team looks forward to working towards our next update and hearing your thoughts!
OH That's GOOD! For Bretonnia,For the Lady! And thanks you guys wonderful work.
Great news, map expansion is what we all need.
Super cool, I hope you add some more evil factions then so that Sylvania don't get overrun too easily.
Since the Empire and Bretonnia have also their inner conflicts they are at war here and there too, and it is the Nature of Bannerlord (that we use for now) that everyone can declare War on everyone ^^
This makes sense in the current game, but will it be kept in the future when there are more factions? Perhaps antagonistic faction warfare would be more in keeping with Warhammer than civil wars within an empire.
We try to find a solution for this. The short answer : Once more "evil" factions are present, we will adapt the decisions for declaring war between order factions.

personally im waiting for a chaos oriented or outright chaos faction
This will still take some time, but we will make sure it will be worth the time.
Cool! Can't wait to see how Grail Knights and Blood Knights compete with each other in game.
Could Brettonia get trebuchets in open battle?
can't wait fot the elves faction to come out
Well, since you're asking our opinion of the release, it's disappointing, but understandable.
Disappointing - because the forces of "light and good" and their elaboration are enough at the moment, and "Warhammer" is about the pathological preening of harsh conditions by ordinary people and about how the simplest people desperately fight steel and fire with all kinds of evil things: the creepy undead, the reckless and countless hordes of greenskins, the barbarians of the North, all kinds of creepy demons and devotees of the dark gods, other races with whom it is difficult to find common ground.
It's understandable - because it's much more convenient to add all kinds of "people", rather than to introduce creatures with new skeletons and animations, working out completely new mechanics and the like. And even in this regard - I would like to see the Norsemen of the Norsca and Chaos Warriors, if it so happens that now there is an opportunity and desire to work only with "people". More antagonists are needed.
It's good that the mod is developing and looks very cool - I wish you only success! This is still the best Warhammer mod.
be cool if you could add a story line with the factions id like to see that i suppose
How's it going with those custom races , last i heard 2 years ago that it was very hard to make new races with the mod tools
custom Races are now possible, as seen with the Vampires, Skeletons, Wraiths and Ungor, ^^ also costum skeletons can now be implemented, but still it is a lot of work because they will mostly also need custom animations and all of that takes time, so the plans will stay the same with one step after the other ^^
