You are a new member of the Siberian resistance... To the south of you city A-36 burns to ash along with the Resistance base of operations in the area. You are taken off the street from your home to fight for the resistance. The next move involves migrating the armed and the refugees to the Siberian tundra to seek refuge in its ominous waste. Unforgiving War and freezing temperatures await you.
So this is not a pistol, its more like a small cannon... as in it shoots volleys, possibly explosive ammo eventually, gonna add some great game play with physical bullet
Reminds me of Ambassador from Team Fortress 2
Where is the pretty girl on the cannon ? :)
So it's some kind of Grenade Launcher? All ways wanted to use one of those in a Half Life based mod, but not one attached to an SMG like Valve seems to do.
Speaking of Pistols, you should really replace both defaults(USP and 357) too like you did with the other guns.
This one just hurts my brain, it keeps screaming "I'm bad at photoshop". Please, please rather use google sketchup for weapon sketching if this is the alternative.
Google sketchup can model it, why use it for an outline which is hard to add good texturing which would require photoshop to make a texture anyway?
Are you calling that a texture? No offense to anyone but the pic is what child would/could do if I told them to draw "a gun" in PS. The fact that the simple boxes are coloured with a pattern and have PS layer bevel effects on them doesn't make any good.
On the other hand, making good 2D concept art IS possible, just not achieved here. You can google around and find stuff where you can clearly picture the gun in your mind because the image has depth and thus, 3D information.

Overall this is just bad concept design, again, I don't mean to offend. It has very little information regarding the 3D shape of the weapon. The same amount as a shadow of an object, really. Bevel effects and additional lines going across the shape are inaccurate and can be interpreted pretty much in any way. Modeling the gun (or imagining how it looks from the front/top) based on this picture is impossible.
And it would be okay if it weren't for the fact that instead of focusing on designing the gun entirely, the artist has decided to spend time polishing his raw sketch and trying to make it look realistic and more finished than what it is.
So what I'm trying to say is: spend your time more wisely.
Hey idk if you saw it but the concept lead to this W.I.P model
