As the release of the long anticipated and unimaginatively named The Nameless Mod approaches, we've finally started to put the finishing touches on a project that has been our obsession for the last seven years. One of the most unique aspects of the TNM release will be the option to have the mod delivered to your door on a snappy, extremely sexy DVD! We have striven in every way to produce a mod that is just as professional and exciting as anything that you might refer to as a 'real' game.
Cost of the disk will simply be the replication fee and shipping. Total cost will be less than $10 total to anywhere in the world; a nice treat for those that like a physical object in their hands, just can't be bothered with the 800mb download, or just enjoying admiring fantastic art. Of course the mod will still be available as a free download, including an iso image of the disk and all the associated artwork!

well this is kinda illegal (as in selling the mod) but looks like you just charge the non-profit costs :)

We don't believe the legal mumbo-jumbo will be a problem, as you're correct that we're making 0 profit, and of course you still need to buy your own copy of Deus Ex to be able to play TNM. Plus, it's all still a free download.

Good idea but pretty pointless having a game case of a mod :p. But nice extra maybe more people will like this idea.
We definitely understand that it's not for everybody, or even most people! If anything, it will at least satisfy the design team to have something to hold onto after seven years of work.
Will you ship from America? Or a EU country?

It ships from US, but we've tested the prices to both Denmark and Germany, both were under $10, including shipping :-)
Oh yea.. But it might get tolled.. That is like 15 dollars..

Ah yes, that's true. Is it random or do they toll everything? The test disks haven't reached Germany or Denmark yet, so I guess we'll find out when they arrive.
Pardon the late comment, but both the discs to Germany and Denmark have now arrived, and none of them got tolled nor taxed.

Great idea and work on the package art guys! It's very cool that you are taking the extra steps to present your project in a way that most mods don't and are striving to be more like a "real" game. It's definitely not pointless and it would be nice to see more mods make this extra effort.
WANT WANT WANT WANT. Looking forward to this guys. Thanks for releasing this and having a case is not a stupid idea- its an awesome idea, simply because it replicates the feeling of buying a game or expansion pack which is a hell awesome feeling really.
