it's a scout helicopter and thus needs to be light. that's why it's thin.
Ummm I don't know where you get your info from but AH1 are not designed as scout helicopters its made to provide fast support to troops and rip giant holes in tanks.
In others word its a Attack Helicopter or Gunship
agreed. that's why it's the AH-1 (attack helicopter) otherwise you're calling the AH-64 apache a scout too.
