LOTR-TW is a Total Conversion for Alexander TW based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, focused to recreate the epic battles seen in the movies. It has a complete Middle Earth map, fully customised cities like Minas Tirith and Helm's Deep on Battle and Campaign map, a set of Historical Battles where you can play all the major and minor battles that take place in the trilogy, and a quest line for the Free-People's campaign where, if the player succeeds, will take the Ring-Bearer from Hobbiton to the wasteland of Mordor in an attempt to save the world from its doom.
Animated Bow and Arrow footage on a battle using the old vanilla Rome Total War enviroments, this feature will NOT come in 2.09, as it is still Work in Progress and it must function 100% correctly before added, every archer unit will use this animation. A drawback of this feature is that the archers will not hide the bow when going on Melee, so it will hold the bow in one hand and use its Melee weapon in the other!

And personally, i don't think of the bow in the left hand as a drawback. It's even more realistic this way.

i find the fact that he doesn't sheathe the bow when going in melee a good factor, makes it look kinda badass xD
This was possibly the greatest archer animation that I've ever seen in my whole total war experience.
