LOTR-TW is a Total Conversion for Alexander TW based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, focused to recreate the epic battles seen in the movies. It has a complete Middle Earth map, fully customised cities like Minas Tirith and Helm's Deep on Battle and Campaign map, a set of Historical Battles where you can play all the major and minor battles that take place in the trilogy, and a quest line for the Free-People's campaign where, if the player succeeds, will take the Ring-Bearer from Hobbiton to the wasteland of Mordor in an attempt to save the world from its doom.

You can actually control flying Nazgul? How did you manage flying units?

yep you can, the nazgul model goes to the ground, but that part is invisible, so its not really "flying", just makes it looks like flying, it cannot go over walls and buldings and all, but everything else its right, the attack annimation also makes it looks like he is going to attack the ground units just like the movies, the nazguls are actually in the 2.0 and 2.08c

Well, actually, they CAN fly over some of MY buildings ;)
For instance, they can fly all over nearly all the orc buildings placed in Gorgoroth map.

Description

Now map buildings are not anymore just for visual effect:

All Unique Settlement in LOTR:TW have their unique features, like places to place archers to shoot on strategical areas of the map or places good for ambushing enemies, narrow passages to stop them and some other things that the player will discover while on the ground.

The reason why it take so long to make this release is that over then making the scenarios and fit their details they must be tested and fixed to be fully playable.
