Okay I am going to make a long story short I have school starting on the 13th of August which isn't very far off and I was going for a release before then but a few setbacks have not allowed that to happen so release is back up in the air for now. Now on to the reason of this news update, I need people to help with this mod as I can't do everything mainly I need someone who is able to get models in-game and working, a texture artist or two, and a artist that can do 2D art for the button images and some of the other images in game as well as new player pictures, When this mod is done it WILL be a total conversion so I really don't want to use any of the original content when the mod is fully released. Now on to the good news, you have seen the Intarian Capital Ships, and all the Videan stuff and I will make it clear now that the Intarians WILL be the initial faction released even though the Videan Modeling is done, the Intarians are further along. Now I was originally going to use Sins Plus in this mod to add a little variety to this mod but I have decided that I will make something similar from scratch that will fit more in the Universe of the Mod. Though I have decided that I will ask if I can add a few things from Distant Star, as they have things that would make this mod more realistic. Now on to the maps you will able to play, I will be phasing out the original ones, and replacing them with more realistic maps inspired from the great mod Stars. Now some of you may be reading this and going "He is just copying other mods" well I have this to say about that, most mods include other mods in them so this will be no different as it would be easier to add different kinds of Stars from Distant Stars than to add new ones to it.
P.S. If this mod gets 50 followers I will release a early alpha version that will be Diplomacy only, as most of the files are in Diplomacy format, converting them doesn't take very long.
