Ok guys another update,
Sorry for the delay in updating but had some major computer problems ref my graphics card and some personal problems which I hato sort before resuming mapping, anyways onwards and upwards.
The first set of shots are of a space base in orbit about the earth, not going to tell you anything else as it will spoil the story when you play it. These shots are only around 95% complete so changes could be made with them as time goes on. Big Thank you to our modeler who created the massive model of the earth and it in motion really doe’s look fantastic and awe-inspiring turning as you orbit.
The second set of shots is a scene at night in the Jurassic time period. The Source engine still do's really nice reflection effects and is perfect considering its age for atmospheric scenes. The scene is of a tutorial for an up and coming mission and the other shots are a love scene.
Anyways hard to tell you guy’s more without spoiling the story...

Nice, my only complaint is the number of stars. I guess you could make it look more empty, otherwise it just looks like the window needs cleaning.
I guess COL Brokaw forget his Tag Heuers on Earth, so he had to bust out the BCG's.

Excellent work as always! And actually I quite like the number of stars, makes for a pretty incredible backdrop.
The skybox i used ref the stars i used because of people that have left earths orbit saying that space was covered in them. Not sure how true that was or not... And to be honest that not many good looking space skybox's out there..

Is the material unlit, but emissive? If so you can just turn down the emissive power and instantly have fewer stars. I have kinda become a space/star specialist with my current assignment. I had a similar looking sky at one point.
It's actually incredible to think that probably the entire night sky would be white, if these stars all had the same intense lighting. Seems there is no darkness in space, just not strong enough lights ^^
looks interesting...i thinking of install again HL2 to try this mod and the first episode...u can visit some wolrd as in Stargate? is this true?? if yes this is a very good new and i install HL2 asap.good work...the only thing i miss is the NO Aim with gun in HL2..
