The three main characters frozen in a rather dramatic scene from a discarded teaser trailer. First public glimpse of the player character - Andrews - in his Black Mesa engineer overalls.
I'm not sure if the existence of a player model indicates The Core multilayer, or if it indicates mirrors will be in the mod.
Either way that's excellent (though highly unconfirmed) news. Also, the teaser looks like it was good.

Actually, I like that typo. They should come up with some new tech/concept that it applies to so they can use it.
i really like the expression on his face. Has "life".
In other models, even those from HD or UD packs, the faces always looks like mannequin or something like that.
In my opinion, to achieve this is not necessary high polys -are good, YES - take look to the face of the original MAX PAYNE 1 model when dies by an explosion and you will see what i am talking about.

Was that face-texture made from a stock-photo or delivered by a team member? :D I bet its one of the developers, right?
The texure is based on a photo of an actors face and heavily edited by yours truely to fit the UV
