This mod will start were the original Half Life2 episode 2 ended, with the death of Alyx her father. She became sick by the loss and layes in bed. Magnusson needs Gordon to look for Kleiner, because he has disapeared. The last time he did see Kleiner was when he spoke about going to the Borealis to blow the ship and everything inside up. Gordon needs to travel by airplane to the North pole and find Kleiner, and save the ship. Will you be on time? And will you find out what the secret cargo is that is inside the ship?
This movie does show 2 small cutscenes of the 17Th level, the second cutscene is a little bit longer but i had to cut it of because there are still some small errors at the end of the scene.
In this cut scene you see Gordon (the player character) step in to a APC Combine(truck), the player isn't able to really drive this truck.
I know, a shame but i wouldn't know how to make that work, i am a mapper. Still, it is nice to watch and it was necessary for the story that he takes place is such a vehicle.

thank you Guest, and no, this was not made with SFM (Source Film Maker) but just with Fraps. i use it always for publishing cut scenes and game play movies of my mods. It is so easy to use. I did edit it all together with WMM (windows movie maker), i know it is not the best movie maker but like Fraps it is very easy to use. Not much option but enough to do what need it for.

Man i can't wait for this, i dont know why. But i absolutely love these kinds of Half-life 2 mods, in the way that they still take place in a HL2 like universe instead of a completely different one, which is the route most mods seem to take now adays.
Your mods has always been very very good Leon, i might playthrough all of them to celebrate the release of this one, once time comes :)

I am always very glad to hear when people like my mods, the amount of work is simply staggering to make them and at least ones a week i ask myself why i keep making them, lol. (as you probably know will i finally start with a indie game after this new mod).
That i keep my mods in the HL2 universe is to be honest not really a choice of mine. I am a mapper and need to look around for models, skins, etc. So i am bound to whatever Hl2 is giving me. So, specially with this new mod i do add loads of new models, weapons, skins, textures, sounds, etc. Just to get as far as possible away from the Hl2 experience. As far as i know are most HL2 mod players now about done with original Hl2 stuff (we all have played so many mods by now that we can dream of HL2 stuff, new stuff is very welcom.) Personally i like that best, in the HL2 universe, but with much new stuff, specially weapons, those original Hl2 weapons are really getting old. But that is just me,...

this will be amazing .. as ive mentioned on planetphillip so many times your mods ( and maps ) are legendary and to be honest it was coastline to atmosphere that got me interested in hl2 mods
however "final project" is by far your best mod and in my opinion the best hl2 mod ever made .... the only thing i hate is how you lost so much work because of valve and their pesky updates .... if the update hadnt ruined the work how much longer would final project been ?
anyway i look forward to the release of "the closure" ... what about a demo ..( one level) come on leon . the waits killing me ( ha,ha )
