The aim of this project is to give Star Wars Battlefront II players the feeling of the TCW show but still experiencing the classic gameplay style they always loved. Units will be organized as MMO classes, trying to give each one a special role that fits a certain team play (like healer, tank, etc.), but the core and the spirit of the game will be not touched. New maps will be included thanks to the permission of many good modders you already know (Umbara: Shadow Forest, Coruscant: Modern Warfare, Attack on Venator, etc.) and new amazing characters models, visual effects and weapons. TBCW Alpha ver. 1.4 (Released)

Updates:

  • DC-17, DC-15, DC-15a model size fixed
  • new Z-6 Rotary Blaster Canon model
  • Z-6 Rotary Blaster Canon balance reworked
  • New animations for double DC-17 pistols
  • Kamino Security Team added as clone legion on Kamino.
  • Padmè Amidala added as hero on Naboo
  • Blitz Phase 2 added as VIP clone #1 on Kamino
  • Doom Unit clones will be rapresented by Heavy, Trooper and Engineer classes in Dagobah and Polis Massa.

Units Rework:

  • Self healing abilities have been removed entirely, except for healers. Developers comment: the fact that clones auto-regen their health really enabled poor plays and made the use of an healer pointless. Now that healing is an exclusive of the healing class, this will make that class not only more engaging, but also more effective and "meta".


Known Bugs

  • Unexpected CTD will occur "randomly" in Umbara: Shadow Forest and Coruscant: Jedi Temple.
  • Some users will experience a regular CTD every 5-10 minutes in Umbara: Shadow Forest.

Fixed Bugs

  • Reward weapons prevent human players from switching weapons.
  • Touching a wall or object when double jumping as a Commando Droid (named as "Magnaguard" in the current version) will trigger a bug that will stuck the animation of the character and will make it bounce around the map with the physics of a ball.
  • On Coruscant Magnaguards may experience a bug while using the Electro Stuff that prevent them from slashing and will stuck them in their position until the weapon is swapped or the character dies.
