Battlefield Unauthorized is a modification for Battlefield 2 that will introduce an new, never-seen-before experience to the BF2 engine. Unlike many mods, this is niether a realism, or fun mod. It is its own unique type, that features many new and some ressurected Battlefield Features.

I think it's safe to say that this mod is dead...that is; if it was alive to begin with. I don't know if there was any work at all put towards this mod, except for this site.

And to think this mod was cancelled because the author's house burnt down lol! I know it's not funny and obviously I feel bad for the guy, but for crying out loud some crazy sh*t happens sometimes.

and can you make jet wont explode when you hit tree?
I just want to say,please don't try to do any big release,small and constant is better than larger and slow which can lead to the mod being dead.Notice how Project Reality and Desert Combat started off?They took the vanilla gameplay and made tweaks and from there took their time and keep releasing new versions until they reached to the big success they are now.Don't recreate the entire game only to find yourself with one big waste of a project.Take from vanilla and start from there.
That is very good advice. I too have thought of that on the occasion. We hope to release 1 map with 2 armies first, and then after we have made more we can release a larger version. But hey, who says we have to stop making it bigger ;)
Yep,take your time and make small and constant updates.Don't plan for a full full release at the very moment.You can also go a bit in the future(not lasers and space ****) in terms of the theme.Maybe you can be the first to have a separate button for the hover mode in the F-35.
