Tellurian is a mod for Impossible Creatures which we hope will: 1). Balance IC, so that as many stock creatures are as useful as possible. 2). Fill out the IC genetic library with new, interesting stock creatures that are useful without being overpowered. 3). Provide a whole new experience without sacrificing the fundamental feel of IC. 4). Introduce modelling and modding techniques which have never before been available to anyone besides the Impossible Creatures developers themselves. 5). Be continually updated, and improved, so that no creatures remain overpowered or "abused" for long. It is important to note that we're striving for professionalism, here. That means proper science-y creature bios and mostly sensible abilities-- though some sacrifices have to be made in the name of balance.
I always though IC is dead which was sad to me since I love this game a lot. I am very happy there is some kind of mod that is in development in 2014 and ands many new high quality and balanced creatures. Many thanks for this!
Simply the best. The best IC mod since DarkStar's Star Trek mod. Let me tell you, all of the balance is totally flawless, the gameplay is unequaled and the extra slots in the multiplayer lobby means you can invite your eleven closest friends to appreciate the very zenith of modern cultural achievement. Believe me, I've been playing IC for a long time-- in fact, back when I was only six years old I was one of the best in the world. Before I could even read most of the text, I was smashing the pro's. You probably don't remember me because I didn't join any clans. They asked me to but because I was only six I was very careful of stranger danger and I said no.
My only regret is that none of the old pro's are around anymore so I can't smash eleven of them at once in these new 12-player games. I'd like to introduce them to my naked mole rat octopus! I call her Temptress. She is the best level 2 hands down because of her strong and prideful stance.
Anyway, this mod is the best. It is even better than vanilla. The Tellurian team is better at making games than Relic; there, I said it.

Never liked CC, Tellurian is far more realistic and adds a lot of interesting creatures.
There are no any fictional creatures which is also pros.

A masterpiece of a mod! The animals in this mod definitely fill their own niche to the gameplay! Also the animals chosen for this mod are well picked out of the many species that are still alive today!
Some of the models are a bit strange but the textures on all the new creatures are exceptional. I really like the new maps as well; Cenote in particular is a favourite of mine. The huge elevation changes leave me with a spring in my step and a pleasant bulge in my loins.
