do you use $translucent or $alphatest?
if you use $translucent, then try to change to $alphatest,it should help
this is not an actual reason, I used $translucent. $alphatest is supposed to be used on models and this is displacement :X

Whow, very atmospheric. Indeed it looks a bit like Dark Messiah, but with enough own ideas to be unique.
The funniest thing is I didn't play DM at all :P and you aren't first person who says that Tear has a lot of Dm's influence.
