Galactopticon is a single-player sci-fi comedy FPS starring a gang of hard-boiled interstellar pirates. The epic storyline will be supported by gameplay elements such as ironsight aiming and an RPG-style branching dialogue system.
Shooting cops and goons.
Beautifully done.
That was so... EPIC! This mod will be fantastic!
Very nice, are you guys going eventually add motion animations for weapons?
Loving it! Just dont forget to add a bit of a bob for the weapon
That was awesome! I love seeing the weapons in action!
cant wait to see even more of these bling bling commercial ads shiny and colourful... so that the player will be really distracted in fights on that street! great footage :)
Looks really cool. I like the head-sway but it looks out of place without any bob.
The crappy Combine-AI looks crappy though. When the player hide behinds the car the mob dudes come chasing like you have run away and hidden or something. It's frustrating that it seems they have no concept of cover.
We'll put weapon bob back in soon. We disabled it to debug the ironsights.
the perceived AI of the bots can be improved by using battle line entities, controlled movements based on player location (monitored by trigger brushes), and manually flickering Block_NPC brushes.
Yeeehaaw ! Look at that !
Looking good, but the sights on the futuristic Thompson look very inaccurate and obstructive.
This is so awesome i hope we get a snv snippet soon :D
That scope-thingy needs to be a lot more transparent.
If there's a goodass, it's this.
Wow, this has come a long way since the last time you showed it. Well done! Hype+
looking pretty slick :)
If I was going to play a Half Life 2 mod with an intergalactic pirating space-smurf protagonist, robot strippers, and a fantastic looking Blade Runner/sci-fi noir-ish art style..
Well, let's just say this would be at the top of my list.
The sight is to bright.
He nodded like he understood.
Lookin' good! Extra points for the Saprano's 'Bada Bing!' reference.
How much of that is brush work?
Oh look - Sopranos joint!
That camera-roll has got to go.
