Galactopticon is a single-player sci-fi comedy FPS starring a gang of hard-boiled interstellar pirates. The epic storyline will be supported by gameplay elements such as ironsight aiming and an RPG-style branching dialogue system.
More quick sketches. Second iteration of the idea, more futuristic this time. I like the middle one.
I like the bottom one best. The ideas are great, but it seems too... small. I understand the idea is for a pocket launcher, but I think a small barrel or wire frame around the missile would help.
but then again, if you are going for the absurdly small, I think 2 is best.
I'll have to agree with you on this one, It does seem strangely small
Why does it need to be big? It being so 'strangely small' is the best part of it's aesthetic appeal. Or would you be happier if they had a big gun called "the compensator". :P
Personally I like the second design the most. I'd probably change the pistol grip to be smoother like the first design, and I might play around with the shape of it's top-left corner. The plain 90 degree angle seems a little bland.
Thanks for the feedback, Dias. Might play around with it a bit. :)
Well...
It is trying to be small, and that is great, just the rockets that get shoved on the end make it look hard to hold up with one hand, because that would be heavy.
I think number 2 and number 3 are the best, 3 having something to stop it from just going crazy and 2 looking cool.
I think #2 is the best, but I also think that maybe you should add some sort of vent on the side that could show steam coming out when fired. I just think that would help the overall design.
One burned Hand with a smashed in face absolutely free!
last one
Now thats a Pocket Rocket
I like the third version best. #3 has the most believable construction IMO.
1st and 3rd r the best nice job
