Tacos Mod contain 25 new missions, 47 new weapons, rifle-grenade-launchers, flame-throwers, missions set during winter, 11 new items, 25 new ammunition types for firearms, over 60 new textures & more. The mod lean towards historical accuracy, but focuses more on game-play with missions both completely fictional & some loosely based on real events. If anyone think this is worthwhile & want to help out just PM me. Also feel free to give me feedback & your thoughts on the mod.
On the left are the new textures Fagu_Aegeis made & on the right are the vanilla SHoWW2 textures.
it's a bit pointless, because those weps are to small. Soldier's (game) camera is not that comfortable to check stuff arround.

But notice, Soldiers game uses inventory sprites. I love this idea and sadly, it's not supported in MoW. (Or maybe it is, but how am i suppose to mod it like that?)
"it's a bit pointless" I disagree. I understand what you mean, as much of the details go to waste if you zoom out on the smaller weapons, but on any rifle-sized weapon the difference is fairly visible for me at 1080p, most of the time time. That is of course for me & how I play.
Also, on the camera I'm not sure if you just meant it was fiddly to use or if you can't zoom in much. On all Tacos Mod missions I set the camera settings so that you can zoom in to about the point where the game automatically zooms out.
"But notice, Soldiers game uses inventory sprites." I might've misunderstood you, but the game typically has 3 different textures for every weapon. One for in-game(world) models, one for inventory & another one for some UI things.

Good idea for renovating SHOWW2, weapons seem now more realistic.
