The Iraida-class Corvette is a multipurpose vessel used by the Republic Navy. Designed to efficiently carry troops and combat enemies, the Iraida is a balanced support craft used commonly in Republic Fleets. Armed with laser cannons used for anti-starfighter and anti-corvette duties, as well as swift engines and a decent shielding system.
Note: The term "Iraida-class" is my own addition, and this ship used to be simply called the "Republic Drpoship", and can be featured in the Alderaan Civil War PvP Zone in SWTOR.
IMPORTANT:
The Iraida will replace the Foray Corvette in my mod. I wanted a more up to date ship to see in combat next to Valor's and Thranta's.
Nice modeling. I see two hangars on the port side, does that mean this can carry fighters?
@Flashy_3 I'm actually thinking about ceiling those up, not sure yet. I don't think a corvette should have fighter support.
You can actually find some of these crashed on Oricon, the hangers are really only big enough for personal transports such as speeders. Not quite enough room to house fighters.
