The War is over, dust settles on the victims of war as malnourished children rush to salvage whatever they can. Following “The Arduous March”, the world has seen the light of peace and respite has been found in the midst of the destruction.

The United States has been left exhausted and within the House and Senate new forces are emerging to pick at the already unstable assembly; the American experiment is facing collapse. The Constitution Party headed by senior officials of The United States Military Industrial Complex and high-ranking executives and businessmen in Wall Street have forged a strong alliance under the guidance of Major General Waiters. The Technocrats, headed by a cabal of America’s top scientists and America’s ever-growing population of Sentient Androids who have remained the centre of controversy since the war. The final party fighting for control of the United States is the Davis Party, named after President Jefferson Davis of the CSA, a union of anti- robot-fear-mongers who have surged in popularity following the war; the Davis Party is not as united as it may seem as Party President Pierce Stevens – A modern, conservative, in-league with wealthy Southern businessmen and neo-confederates – in direct opposition with Pascal Marshal, the Governor of the Louisiana Legislature and leader of the Breckinridge movement. Marshal is known throughout America as a bigoted war-alarmist who despises ethnic minorities, his rhetoric seems alarming and sincere. Marshal has been riding on the coat-tails of Stevens, if Stevens is to become elected, he will need to rid himself of Marshal’s racist rhetoric. Marshal has the support of Marble Man’s Milita, a right-wing Christian-fundamentalist organisation that is Marshal’s muscle, their power is significant.

The 2070 election is coming up, Democracy will be an end in itself as all factions fight for control in an America more divided than ever before. Who will be its saviour… Or destroyer?

In 1921, a great revolution shook Mongolia to its knees. Damdin Sükhbaatar lead an army of communist partisans to overthrow the Bogd Khanate and establish Bolshevik rule - this would not be the case. An army of cavalry charged Urga from the Bogd Khan Mountain, ambushing their enemy and slaughtered them all. Damdin Sükhbaatar was found in his bed with molten lead poured down his throat; the revolution of Mongolia was over and the warlord mastermind behind crushing it was declared the incarnation Buddhist God of War - Jamsaran - by the Bogd Khan and the Dalai Lama.

Jamsaran conquered Mongolia and extended a branch to two would-be revolutionaries in Guangzhou - Sun Yat-Sen and Chiang Kai-Shek. Jamsaran offered his help towards the Northern Expedition to conquer China under the Kuomintang provided that Jamsaran would have their loyalty and obedience. Sun Yat-Sen and Chiang Kai-Shek reluctantly obliged, and by 1925; Sun Yat-Sen was able to see his beloved China unified under the Kuomintang before he died. Chiang and Jamsaran achieved absolute power together.

Zhang Tianran, the founder of the Yiguandao movement, achieved Jamsaran's attention with his cult. Yiguandao's apocalyptic callings fell on Jamsaran's ears and Jamsaran's form of Buddhism merged with Yiguandao to form what would be known in the modern era as the "Death Cult"; the Dalai Lama was coerced into declaring Jamsaran as "Father Sǐ [Death]"; the husband of the Eternal Venerable Mother, the overseer of Diyu. Buddhists, Taoists and other Chinese Folk Religions were forcibly converted to Father Death's cult which advocated for martyrdom, the massacring of apostates and the creation of a Eurasian War-state under Father Death's rule.

Chiang, Zhang and Father Death negotiated together about their plans for China and agreed that Father Death be the spiritual leader of the nation, Mongolia, China and Tibet were united as one under the Death Cult of Father Sǐ. The Japanese played their hand at an invasion of Manchuria but were pushed back, this resulted in an invasion on naval cities in China - this resulted badly for the Japanese forces in China who were attacked by the fanatic native population which butchered the soldiers with machetes and knives. The Korean Peninsula fearing an invasion by the fanatic Chinese declared independence from Japan.

The Death Cult in China is suspicious of outside influence, however under Chiang's rule of China, the Death Cult has relatively friendly relations with the United States against the Posadist Republic of Russia. It is currently engaged in a Civil War in India, pushing in from the East to fight the Islamic West and the Democratic South.

Now, more than a hundred years after the revolution, Father Death rules over China , his picture hung in Tiananmen Square, he is known as the second coming of महाकाल - Mahakala - The Buddhist and Hindu God of Death, all other religion were banned in the new China and the state was renamed; "The Glorious Republic of Death", or as it was more popularly called by Westerners; "The Death Cult". Who was Father Death though?

War is brewing and both parties are continuing to expand their military presence on the border. One spark is all it could take to send the British Isles into flames. Who will make the first move and what is the future of Britain?

The situation in India is dire, a loss of India would be crucial for the continuation of the Commonwealth, giving the Death-Cult a chance to invade Australia and other Pacific and Asian nations to further their own agenda. The Death-Cult to the East have gained significant territory in eastern Bangladesh and are encroaching into mainland India through the McMahon Line, slaughtering and performing brutal punishments against the ethnic Hindu population that resides there. International aid is out of the question, with the Death Cult's navy currently blockading Indian ports in Mumbai, Kochi and numerous other coastal cities. To the west, the Middle Eastern Conglomerate fight hard to save their eastern brothers from the incoming hordes of Death-Cult forces coming in from Tibet and the North-East.

Mass migration is a major problem for the Middle Eastern Conglomerate, cities are overcrowded with Muslim refugees attempting to flee the Death Cult's regime. The conditions in the Middle-Eastern refugee camps is sub-human, with food-shortages becoming common. Those who do not convert to the ways of Allah are often turned away back to the Malabar Front where they would most likely meet their demise.

Muslims who are unable to flee the Malabar Front find themselves either in the Death-Cult's camps, or lying dead in their tracks - burnt alive, as a warning to those who do not submit to the Death Cults teachings and laws.

Cluster - An empire of robot-aliens have invaded, installing a robot-orientated government which locks human beings in concentration camps to serve the robot’s needs.

Posadism - A grotesque mix of Trotskyism and UFOlogy which blew up in popularity. Fronted by the Posadist Republics of Eastern Europe. Posadists believe in Alien Supremacy and worshiping of supposed otherworldly gods.

Technocracy - The country’s greatest technical minds have banded together to further the research and development of new technology while embracing research into The Cluster States to benefit the state and its people. Technocratic governments are usually fronted by Scientists and those previously affiliated with the far left.

Democracy - The bastion of freedom and civil liberties, rare in the current political climate.

Reactionary - A collective name for states with semi to entirely dictatorial systems, often backed by Nationalistic and Conservative thinking.

Corporatism - The Financial Cliques have obtained power of the country, lowering the corporation tax to maximize corporate profits and bring additional powers to executives.

Human Supremacy - A dedicated and nationalistic following of ultra-nationalist demagogues who look to crush the Cluster states in order to return order and stability to Earth. They are also heavily opposed to Posadism, mainly due to the acts of Posadist states during the Arduous March.

Death Worship - Fanatics following the words of Father Death, the cult leader of the orient. Death Worshipers promote sacrifice and eternal loyalty to Father Sǐ.

Indian Civil War - India finds itself stuck between a rock and a hard place with two powers trying to seize the country for themselves. To the north-east in Bhutan and Tibet is the Death Cult, and to the west is the Middle-Eastern Conglomerate, both fighting hard to cut themselves a piece of the pie.

The Scottish Troubles - The Neo-Bolshevik Republic of Scotland is under heavy political turmoil with the Fascist Union of Britannia. The Scottish border has become a heavily armoured minefield; both armies watch the movements of their opponents. One spark could light a war between the two.

The 2070 Presidential Election - Political turmoil is brewing between the Neo-Confederate Davis Party headed by Pierce Stevens, the Breckenridge Movement spearheaded by the bigoted Governor of Louisiana Pascal Marshal, the Technocrats lead by the top scientific minds of the United States and the Democratic Party of the United States of America. Democracy is looking bleak.
