I just finished migrating two weapons from LURK 1.1 over to SmP 2.4, the G3 and Mossberg 590, and everything is working fine except the weapon's inventory picture thing (hud?). The G3's icon looks like part of a LR-300 and the stock of an AK-74, and the Mossberg doesn't even have a picture, it's just a blank inventory space (which makes it easy to miss). What exactly determines the image for the weapon's inventory picture thingy, or how do I fix this? Also, is it possible to attach a grenade launcher to any assault rifle by messing with the .ltx files? Another problem came up. I added the sks in as well, and when loading a game it got to "synchronizing" then ctd. The log said it could find texture "act_arm_new", which I found in the LURK files, and moved over. Well the game loaded fine then, and I started a new game, but when I got to that first firefight where you need to save nimble I started having this glitch occur. Any idea what's going on? |

Some GPU can screw the icons in stalker becouse they don't suport larger ui_icon_equipment file ... You can try to raise Texture Detail (Not sure if it is this) and see if it fixed it
Yes and no ... It is possible to attach grenade launcher by messing the .ltx files IF the weapon meshes cames with it If the grenade launcher doesn't came with the mesh and you mess with ltx to active the grenade launcher on that mesh then it will ctd |

Some models don't support addon moduals like launchers or scopes. That depends on the model creators work. Rest is trial and error. Testing out values and making correction ins the ltx files. -- Stalker players stalk the game ~ GSC Game Stalk's us with stalker bugs |
