Description
Albahdir is the Ternatean adaptation of the Portuguese word 'Alabardeiro', thus it means halberdier. It is armed with Porto-Spanish armory such as morion helmet and cuirass, combined with local salawaku shield clad in brass. It however wields a mere spear instead of halberd.
it's interesting how some soldiers are still wearing motions y the 19th and 20th century.
