Strokkur Beta 0.8 file

This was birthed by me waking up four hours before my alarm and concluded Bandar apes should be used more often in Dominions. Thus the only logical conclusion was to turn them into Norsemen. This was a 48 hour project so a bit rough around the edges perhaps. But future updates might extend the nation. For example planning a line of blood summons.

Myth tell of a time long ago when a great guardian let the Vanara through a portal to their new home. Most stories agree this was to keep them safe from a great catylism but none knew what it had been. Before the arrival of the Awakened God the Gramr, kings of the Vanara of Strokkur, began having nightmares. These dreams told of a great war to come. Now with the arrival of the Awakened God they found a leader for the war to come.

Strokkum is a peaceful island that lacks a dedicated army. But men can be trained and prepared. Assemble the kings and let them train their host.

Race: Vanara vikings with some other Bandar descendants.

Military: Few trained units, most will learn on the battlefield. Limited cavalry, sacred berserkers.

Magic: Fire, water, air. Minor earth, death and astral.

Priests: Medium, warrior priests.

Some pointers. Your Gramr and Baleyg freespawn units that will XP shape into better units. Gramr can XP shape into Baleyg as well. Berserkers also have an XP shape that's slightly better.The Hroptr has a summer and winter shape with fire and water magic respectively.

0.7 Lots of small balance changes to the unit costs. Tweaked XP shapes a bit too. Fixed glaring issue with the Brokk smith. ID conflict, should work as intended now. Capital now gives XP.

0.8 Fixed the Hroptr seasonal shapes. Rebalanced the cavalry.
