History
The Special Air Service (SAS) was founded in 1941 by Captain David Stirling.
David Stirling collected a group of individuals prepared to take extraordinary risks in the course of the war against the Germans in the desert. The SAS was quick and innovative. And always true to their motto, Who Dares Wins.

About Stirlings Pride
Stirling's Pride is a total conversion for Call Of Duty™ 2. Our goal is to portray the events and combat actions of the British Special Air Service, better known as S.A.S. Stirling's Pride will strive for perfection and detailed realism, combined with suspense and tactic missions. Our team will be selected for prime qualities and knowledge of their task within the team.

Locations
Stirlings Pride offers five exciting SinglePlayer levels: France, Italy, Africa, Germany and the Ardennes.
The player will have the ability to escape from Castle Colditz, to support the U.S. Army in the Ardennes, to blow up communicationposts in France, to retake a harbor in Italy and a town in Africa. More information about our featured missions, can be read here.

Custom material
Stirling's Pride will also include custom material, such as new models, world textures and player skins.

Playmode
Our modification will be released as SinglePlayer and MultiPlayer.At this point it is not yet known which new improvements will be included in the first release of Stirlings Pride (1.0).

Oh! What a shame, I was looking forward to a modification for CoD2 that focused on the SAS. Hope somebody else does a similar idea involving the SAS and their operations in the desert.
