States at War mod for Half-Life 2

Have you ever wanted to be a thread in the rich tapestry of American History? In SaW We offer you that chance to take up arms in the American Civil War. Wether you choose to fight for the Union or the Confederacy we promise you a gaming experience you wont forget in a hurry.

States at War will be a mix of historical accuracy and entertainment compromises. We Boast an exciting host of features to implement the most notable being the indepth unique players class systems.

# Historically Accurate maps.
# Stunning team-play possibilities.

Maps will range from such historic scenarios like Fort Sumter to fictional battles spanning entire cities. Each map will contain varied landscapes with bottlenecks and open areas to concentrate the importance of team play and tactics.
We would very much like for the mod to become a clan friendly one. Because of this we are trying to include as much playability and match oppurtunities as possible.

Game mode possibilities include :
#Capture the flag: A scenario where one team must take an item from an enemy position and return to there "point" to score.
#King of the hill: Players will defend an area, the amount of time they hold the area dictates their points.
#Reinforcement Depletion: The reinforcements (spawns) are reduced by a death of a team mate leading to a last man standing game type.

Only people registered on the forums will be considered for Beta testing.

States At War is a total conversion mod for Half-life 2 deathmatch. We intend to use no hl2 props or textures in the final version.
