You need source sdk 2013 and right click: Goto properties and hit beta set it to upcoming and install the game into your source mods folder use 7 zip or win rar to extract. Make sure its singleplayer

The wood is going the wrong direction on the planks, it's also a wooden floor texture. Try changing the texture and rotating it so it's more believable. Little things like that will make your maps look a lot better and take very little time to do.
