Empire at War:FoC:StarStorm is an ambitious 'Mega-Mod' for Forces of Corruption. This mod is a passion project of mine and it's chief goal is to bridge many of the greatest works of many talented modders and teams for Empire at War in one, large and fleshed out single mod. With approved permission from each modder, this mod will slowly add units, maps, UI, and even gameplay elements to this mod. I began it's pre-planning in 2015, and slowly established further designs as the years have gone by. The mod will take the player on a journey from the Mandalorian War all the way to the Legacy Era, on what I proudly boast as the largest GC map out of any mod released thus far. Make note, that the GCW Campaign will be the first phase released and likely most fleshed out for the foreseeable future. Any further information can be found in accompanying articles on this mod page, as well as my contact information and credits.

Description

In the mod, gone will be the stock vanilla civilian mechanic, where its just bodyshields carrying weak little handguns. Instead, the majority of planets will have alien populaces that are unique and can even pose a challenge to the invading force. For example, Tusken Raiders will now brandish long range slugthrowers, and are accompanied by Tusken Shamans, which buff nearby Tuskens. Muuns on Muunilist and Mygeeto, as well and Neimodians on Cato Neimodia, can bribe infantry. Mustafarans are almost immune to fire projectiles.

I am also considering, on planets that would have a sizable population and are major trade ports, during space battles, having a few civilian frigates and freighters be present on the map, fleeing from your forces, in order to add a little sense of immersion. That is purely dependent on how well a feature would work performance wise, which is a major factor in my ambitions for the mod
