The design of the Lance is rater simple – so
simple that when it first appeared it was laughed
at by the enemy. That quickly changed when a storm
of fusion missiles overwhelmed their defenses. The
Lance should not be underestimated, for it
presents a grave threat to anything with
inadequate point defenses. The lack of AF defenses
and thin armor mean it should be used as a
surprise strike weapon.
