MGM has started shutting SG mods down left and right. We are quiting while we are ahead. We where also unable to come up with a programmer, and so nothing could get done. Trillions of years ago there was an advanced race called ‘the Ancients’. They quickly spread across the galaxy and onto the next using advanced space travel. But soon that was not fast enough. They needed to go from one planet to another almost instantly in order to sustain their rate of growth. So over the course of 10,000 years they developed a technology known as the Stargate. It simply worked by creating a wormhole that was shorter than the distance between the two points it was created between. In essence it would bend space and time allowing anything they could fit through this ring to travel across the galaxy in 11 seconds. Soon the Ancients became so advanced, that they ascended to a higher plane of existence. But their last mission as a people was to create a network of Stargates by placing one on almost...

Hey big news from the Stargate SGC mod, we have images of the goua'ld Mothership control panel, and The SGC gate room. Stop by the mod website for more info and to join the forums.

Also Stargate SGC Mod is looking for an experienced coder to add to the team. If you’re a fan of the show Stargate SG1, you’ll really fit on the team, the mod is based off of the Sci-Fi/MGM show and movie, but with a nice twist to keep it fresh.

I’m not going to lie and say its all going to be easy work, for example, the first thing we will need our coder to do is have him learn the HL2 engine quickly after it comes out.
