Starcraft: Marine has now made some major changes. We are now Project Oblivion. Founded on the same principles SCM was, we are changing things around to avoid potential conflict with blizzard. We have a new modDB profile, along with a web site. If your watching this mod, please head on over to Project Oblivion and watch this one instead, as SCM will no longer be updated. On the topic of our new web site, it is coming together nicely and we have a real domain name. Thanks to SSlippy for the generous webspace and hosting/managemet. Head on over and check it out! Thank you for your support! ~Radetsu PO Leader
We will try to get this skinned soon, and put it
in the game to see how it looks.
Marine Gauss Rifle, what do you think? Does it
look StarCraft enough? suggestions/constructive
criticism?
Looks pretty good to me. However looks more like the gun the ghosts use if you look in the star craft stratagy guide. maybe keep that around for the canister rifle as a pick up. Maybe make it look like the halo 1 assult rifle from the rear with the display and all but elongate it like make it not so compact. longer barrel or something. This does look more like the casister rifle imo
We have a detailed technical drawing of the ghost rifle.. but not for the gauss rifle, so what you see here was basically taken from bits and pieces of images I found all over the internet, and we shaped it into this. And you will get to use a ghost rifle in the game, they will be diffrent. trust me!
you guys trying to keep it low poly? i cant tell if it is or not, but from here it doesnt look too featuristic. but i was guessing that because of maybe the insanely huge wars you guys might rm from SC... so as to keep a decent performance scrap some polys?
