Star Wars Rise of Hope is a mod that will be based on the early Empire and its fall against the Rebel Alliance and its following sucessor the New Republic.
The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer was a model of Star Destroyer in the service of the Imperial Navy. A wedge-shaped capital ship, it bristled with weapons emplacements, assault troops, boarding craft, and TIE fighters.
At first, Star Destroyers were deployed to sectors and systems caught in the aftermath of the Clone Wars, where they would crush any signs of sedition. During the Galactic Civil War, the Star Destroyer's roles changed to hunting down high value Rebel targets and bases.
Its primary weapons are 6 quad heavy turbolasers and 2 quad ion cannons, all its remaining armament consisted in ion cannons and turbolasers, aswell as tractor beams.
The Imperial II-class Star Destroyer, also called by the Rebels as the "Impstar-Deuce," was a Star Destroyer model that was derived from the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer.
Several differences existed between the Imperial I and Imperial II-class Star Destroyer, including the replacement of the tractor beam targeting array between the command tower's sensor globes with a communications tower, as well as the removal of point defense weaponry. The Imperial II was built with a heavily reinforced hull, stronger deflector shields, and greater firepower than the original Imperial I class. The prominent quad heavy turbolaser and heavy ion cannon turrets flanking the surface of the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer were also replaced with batteries of eight-barreled turbolasers in unarmored barbette mountings.
The Interdictor-class Star Destroyer was a variant of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer equipped with gravity well projectors.
Though it was decently armed for its size, it was a high priority vessel that was generally unable to hold its own in combat. To make room for the gravity well projectors, half of the turbolasers and ion cannons, as well as eight of the tractor beam projectors found on the SD were removed.

Still no ventral cannons I see. Unfortunate, but still good work on these Star Destroyers.
Also have you considered doing a Tector Star Destroyer? I'd love to see one with YVAW style armaments, plus it would make a good early tougher-than-an-regular-impstar cruiser.
The model is still not finished, I need to put some more damage particles, and them I will have to see if I add the ventral armament.
