Star Wars Opposition - Main Pack is a Mod featuring a huge repository of models, weapons, ships, maps and vehicles from all the Star Wars Episodes, stories and series.
This mod offers a huge number of weapons from this two eras, also personal grenade-like shields. In it you will find many usable vehicles, spaceships and walkers like the AT-ST and AT-ACT, including X-Wings, U-Wings, Zeta-class Shuttles, Tie Strikers, Spider-droids and many, many more.
Adding Local mods (i.e. not Steam Workshop) to the Arma3 Launcher (BIS)
To add mods from alternative sources, first download the mod and unpack it using WinRAR (or similar) then place the @modname folder in either your My Documents\Arma3 folder or in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3.
Each local mod must have its own folder and ideally follow a consistent naming convention.
To help differentiate mods from vanilla Arma3 content - local mod folders have an @ prefix i.e. @CAF or @RHSUSAF. To add a local (non SW) mod to the Launcher click on the [ ]+Local mod icon (top lhs) - then browse to the folder for the mod you want to add.
Note: The !Workshop folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3 at the top of the list in the image above. Do not delete or change this folder. This folder contains virtual links to each of the SW mods you have subscribed to and is managed by the Steam client / Arma3 Launcher.
The newly added local mod will now appear in the Launcher mod listing.
Some local mods have a "userconfig" folder, copy it into the Arma3 equivalent folder, usually: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\userconfig". If there is a key in the mod Keys folder place the key file into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Keys folder. The key is used if you run a server.
Updating a local mod requires you to manually download the update then remove the old mod version - then repeat the above process for adding a local mod.
Can u break it into 2 parts or trim it down a bit it wont let me download.
You should check your internet connection, no problems of that kind reported.
It's not the internet connection, something about MODDB makes downloads go at far slower speeds than normal. On steam I'll download at 12 MB/S average, here it's not even 1 MB/S.
RAR file has error, tried two version of WinRAR and no luck it states the RAR file is corrupt
You must use the last version of Winrar 5 to extract it.
Thank you I will try it.
[Edit] Worked thankyou :)
Is there a way to play this without having to use ACE? It completely breaks my game and uninstalling it doesn't revert back to default settings.
Hi, you could try a cut version of ACE from the steam workshop.
For now its needed for some scripting ingame.
whats the difference between this one and the one on steam?
None.

Ace medical takes all of the fun out of this mod. It is so annoying that it is required for scripts to function correctly. Using a version of ace without the medical system from the workshop does not work correctly for me, and I’ve heard others are having similar issues.

on the steam page in workshop I saw a pic where p1 clones are in raincoats but I cant find them in ace arsenal
Search the workshop for the Poncho mod.

I constantly get "outdated" errors from ACE especially medical gui when using this but at no other time, have deleted and reinstalled ace but had no luck. Does anyone know any solutions?
