Tie Fighter : confirmed 100% complete

Tie Interceptor : confirmed 100% complete

Z-95 Head hunter : confirmed , 100% complete

GR-75 Gallofree Transport: confirmed 100% complete

Action IV Transport : confirmed 90% complete

Imperial Gozanti-Class Cruiser : 90% complete

Tie Striker (fighter/light transport) : postponed

Fire-spray-class patrol ship : postponed

Ooooh, a firespreay ^^ judging by that, i guess the 5 ships for the first module will be the Firespray, A-Wing, TIE Fighter, Z-95 and GR75?

I think that X4 landing mechanics might be problematic for firespray - you would have to "land on the back" or "land standing" and possibly clip through floor.

is AI even capable of landing "on the back"?

I was wondering how are you handling ships that have their equipment (engines,weapons etc) fully integrated into a sleek main body like the Tie Fighter with X4's crappy one size fits all models?

The fire spray will land upright for now, with a ladder leading all the way up to the cockpit for now.

Currently we have no means of editing any nation but I’m sure we will in time (lambda class shuttle will need this) in the meantime some ships wings will have to clip into the landing pads unfortunately.

Hi, I am making customs engines , I am also trying to have it in a way that ships are only able to mount certain engines, the shield and weapon models will be replaced as well.

Mik, been following you for a while, never thought i'd get to see the day where your ships are in x4. X3/AP/Litcubes + Starwars mods are some of my favorite additions to the X franchise.

I have a question regarding some of the bigger ships from the star wars franchise, how do you plan on fitting those ships within the M, L, XL, and XXL category? Are the XL and XXL shipyards even big enough to house something like an ISD-I or the MC80s? Would you create custom shipyards for those faction(s) ships entirely? Also how different factions do you intend to work on within X4?

That cokpit on GR75 looks so damn fine even if it's vanilla X4.


Regarding alkatjox question - I think XL shipyards should be able to fit ISD size ships, but bigger one would probably need new XXL shipyard.

Hi alkatjox,

I haven't forgot you :)

I believe the shipyards are big enough for the ISD1/ISD2, but will have to be edited to accommodate the SSD.

Eventually I will replace all shipyards to Star Wars ones, and races will be replaced as I did in x3, character models will also be changed to star wars characters.

Honestly, I believe he doesn't want to attract too much attention from the Disney overlords. Several big Star Wars mods have been taken down viciously in the past 12 months even tho it's within "Fair-use" because it isn't monetized.

if the mod is taken down hopefully the community will share the last download and Ill get updates out through other channels.

The donations are much needed, things are very tough this side of the word.

Ok, that just looks amazing! Amazing job on its scale aswell. Its so much better at that scale, cant wait to see this mod progress more and more ^^

Always wondered why the dimensions seemed off. It didn't help that rebels re-designed it and made it smaller. Yeah sure, it can carry a fighter attachment, but the Gozanti was a formidable ship for any rebel fighter wing, and the size presented in the wiki/rebels does not do it justice. This does, however. Good work!

Gozanti on a landing pad looks amazing, but I forsee future problems - if it will have fighters attached to the bottom it will either cannot land of the landing pad, or docked fighters will click trough the floor (and I can't imagine the horror if they would want to undock).
