Continuing the blog series detailing each faction's structures and units, this time with the Confederacy of Independant Systems! Specific units' abilities, research and support powers will be detailed later.

In the wake of the Aftermath War, many star systems grew discontent with the Republic's slow progress on Tiberium research and seceded to create the Confederacy of Independant Systems, an alliance bent on overthrowing the galactic government and exposing their jealously-guarded technological secrets. Their armies are made up of a wide assortment of battle droids of the Trade Federation and the Techno Union, ranging in scale -and firepower- from simple footsoldiers to imposing spider walkers.

Main structures:

  • Construction Yard (0) - Base construction
  • Geothermal Plant (1) - Base power
  • Refinery (1) - Processes collected Tiberium, adds 5000 to max. income
  • Droid Factory (1) - Infantry production
  • Heavy Weapons Factory (1) - Vehicle production
  • Signal Relay (1) - Unlocks map display and Tier 2 structures
  • Air Factory (2) - Aircraft production
  • Combat Database (2) - Infantry research, unlocks Tier 2 infantry
  • Tactical Mainframe (2) - Advanced research, unlocks Tier 3 units and structures
  • Droid Control Center (3) - Advanced research, produces Tactical Droid and Magnaguard
  • Crane (1) - Additional construction queue, cannot construct Tier 3 base defenses or other cranes

Support structures:

  • Shredder Turret (1) - Anti-infantry
  • Heavy Laser Turret (2) - Anti-vehicle
  • Discord Missile Turret (2) - Anti-aircraft base defense
  • Silo (1) - Tiberium containment structure, adds 2000 to max. income
  • Proton Cannon (3) - Advanced anti-vehicle base defense
  • Defoliator Missile Launcher (3) - Superweapon, launches a tactical warhead that immediately destroys all but the biggest vehicles and structures and releases a cloud over an area one third larger that deals periodic corrosive damage for 10 seconds, especially deadly to infantry
  • Prospector (1) - Base expansion vehicle, deploys into an Outpost

(Note: I'll probably replace the name of the Defoliator missile with something else later, since it doesn't have the same effect as shown in The Clone Wars. I am, of course, open to any suggestions.)

Infantry:

  • Battle Droid Squad (1) - Anti-infantry
  • Super Battle Droid Squad (1) - Anti-vehicle/aircraft, can switch to anti-infantry
  • Slicer Droid (1) - Captures and repairs structures and bridges, can repair droid infantry and vehicles to full health
  • Venom Droid Squad (2) - Anti-infantry, can clear garrison, uses a Tiberium-based corrosive liquid
  • Buzz Droid Swarm (2) - Anti-vehicle/aircraft, attaches to enemy vehicles and aircraft until they are destroyed (think Terror Drone from RA)
  • Droideka (3) - Anti-infantry
  • Commando Droid Squad (3) - Stealth unit, detects stealth, anti-infantry, can disguise itself as enemy infantry
  • Tactical Droid (3) - Lightly armed, improves nearby troops' efficiency in a large radius when garrisoned in an AAT
  • Magnaguard (3) - Melee, anti-infantry, can sacrifice a friendly infantry unit to gain additional passive abilities (up to 3), only four may be deployed at a time

Vehicles:

  • Dwarf Spider Droid (1) - Anti-infantry
  • Homing Spider Droid (1) - Anti-infantry/vehicle
  • Hailfire Droid (2) - Anti-aircraft
  • Harvester (1) - Unarmed, collects Tiberium
  • Armored Assault Tank (2) - Anti-vehicle
  • Octuptarra Tri-Droid (3) - Anti-vehicle/aircraft
  • Advanced Spider Droid (3) - Anti-vehicle/structure, only three may be deployed at a time

Aircraft:

  • Droid Tri-Fighter (2) - Anti-aircraft, detects stealth
  • Vulture Droid Starfighter (2) - Anti-infantry/aircraft, can switch between walker and flight mode
  • Hyena Droid Bomber (2) - Anti-vehicle/structure, can switch between walker and flight mode
  • Droid Gunship (3) - Anti-infantry/vehicle, transports infantry/vehicles
  • Planetary Deployment Vehicle (2) - Deploys into a Construction Yard
