Star Wars Battlefront III Legacy is a large-scale conversion mod created for Battlefront II using as many recovered assets that are available from the cancelled game Star Wars Battlefront 3 by Free Radical; including both eras (Clone Wars and GCW), a brand-new HUD+Interface and a few converted maps such as Coruscant, Cato Neimoidia, Bespin and Dantooine.
The HUD is nearly complete as it is currently lacking elements regarding the campaign and capture the flag. It is our intention to be as close to the original source as possible. The health icon, target bar, reinforcements, the fonts and many more elements have been reworked to match the look of Battlefront 3's latest concepts.
Soldier animations have now been extracted/recreated from Battlefront 3. Thanks to Ryan Hank for being part of this. Now one of the last few remaining pandemic assets has vanished, reaching a new level of accuracy.
The Republic (and CIS) units (including vehicles, heroes/villains) are still in development and shall be finished until the next release.
IMPORTANT:
Sleepkiller's Shaderpatch is not just recommened but a mandatory addition to have not just better in-game rendering of existing shaders (Including better lighting as seen here) but also allows for the change of team-colors.
[GT]Anakin's Remaster is required to disable the original Swbf2 HUD (At least for the upcoming release), otherwise you will likely experience the infamous "double-hud-bug".
