Homeworld 2 meets Star Trek: Armada 2. Set in over all four Star Trek eras you will find three superbly balanced factions to face off against one another, the Alpha Quadrant superpowers! The versatile United Federation of Planets, the formidable Klingon Defence Force and the enigmatic Romulan Star Empire.
Another generous donation to our mod, the Strider class! This was designed to be an assault ship but we felt that with the two large landing pads on the "saucer" it would make a perfect wartime resource controller for the Federation. Compact and more manoeuvrable than its civilian counterparts!
So I take it that it's armed?

But also I don't think we're going to arm it. It won't be able to harm larger ships anyway, so we're rather giving it good shields and high maneuverability that it can get fast out of a battle without being destroyed.
We're thinking of maybe replacing this with an Oberth variant, if it looks ok, but it's only a thought at the moment.
