Return to the Zone in S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Wormwood, a high-difficulty survival-oriented realism modification for GSC Game World’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat. Wormwood builds upon the core Stalker experience, enriching the latest in the cult game series with brand new survival mechanics, intense and realistic gunplay, new missions, levels, fleshed-out building interiors and much, much more.
Man... that is so atmospheric and seems like something out of a Stalker movie if there was one.
what, you mean aside from 'Stalker' directed by Andrei Tarkovsky? :D
Is that movie actually based off of the games general setting? Like the same world that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is?
The original work is Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. This book inspired Andrei Tarkovsky to make a movie, "Stalker", loosely based on it. The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game universe has the same relationship with the novel as the movie does, and probably with the movie as well.
but that movie was made in 70', and the CNPP explosion was in 1986?so what is the action in this movie by tarkovsky, if it wasnt any reactor explosion?ive heard taht is a greeat movie, not like the western one. they must do a movie now, in our times, i think it will be very great.
