@Needaname Nice thoughts! I Really like your ideas, but CoD like The weapon modification is a Must. We are working on it atm. That you can give your weapon to the "NPC" located in "Randomland" and then get attachments for it. Thank you, and dont forget to watch this thread, and advise it to all your stalker friends! |

I was thinking about revamping the old stalker hud and UI. You know how most of the armors in the game have gasmasks, well why not work on that and think in terms of 3D. I'm not sure if it's possible in scripting, but I think a nice 3D looking hud can be done. You find a couple of gas mask mods out there, but they all look 'flat'... And I think they really weren't done that well, rushed. You could even take this to the next level, with basic armors you can't really see how much ammo you have left unless you go into the inventory. While with more advanced armors you get a nice little UI hud that shows all these stats. The only thing you might not really be able to change is the map, not sure yet what to do there. |

what about improving vehicles. in some mods you can drive but thats not well enough for the stalker community. eg the tank you can drive, but you cant shoot |

that sounds ... interesting. BUT its NOT possible, sorry. The engine doesn't have the possibility to add seats to a vehicle. But NPC's can follow you, not underground. But thanks for the support much appreciated! |

@ first a Q :will the gameplay be more realistic or arcade? ... but now my ideas to get better weapons or upgrades or armors you have to "rank up". a little level system for stalker you begin at lv 1 or "rookie" or whatever ... then a few KILLS later ( on lv 12 maybe you are EXPERIENCED" ) an at least ( eg lv40 you are MASTER STALKER or something xD ) the quests in the game dont only give money or ammo but EXP. mob spawn rate is very HIGH so you can go HUNTING like in mmo rpgs xD the mobs have levels too. so on lv 1-10 you hunt DOGS n ROOKIE BANDITS lv 11-25 you hunt BLOODSUCKERS ZOMBIES and ARMY GUYS an'lv 26-40 you hunt MASTER STALKERS SNORKS PSEUDOGIANTS to get higher level and gain better equipment for your stalker but not only monster killing... quests like "Dog killed 0/20" should be selectable. MUCH of em^^ ----the weapons you can buy is dependent on which faction you choose---- Duty: AK series Freedom: NATO wpns ( better in mean range) bandits: Shotguns and melee weapons ( better in close combat ) and MERCs: Launchers and Sniper rifles ( long range and against groups of enemys. ) i could list ALL of my dreams of HOW stalker could look like, BUT: i understand you have not the TIME to add all this stuff and you DONT NEED TO! i just want to give my knowledge to you to pick out the stuff you like BEST! good luck and have fun. we all count on YOU =) |

Well I believe most stashes are empty because you need to have the info about them before the game puts loot in them, and as for splitting the armor up, I could see maybe separating the rest from your head but nothing further (like in CoP), like LoNer said below. Edited by: Sowexly --

Good to see you active here guys, keep it up. Later, i have posted a new news item regarding my particles. You can view it in a couple of days, hours, depends on when it will be checked by a mod. And Needaname, The Zone is one explorable place, full of secrets. But some more secrets can hurt though, so yes. I will add more random stashes. About the armor, no. You can only add gasmasks to your hud, as a separate texture, no scripting comes to the hand for mask though engine limitation... Who wants snow in this mod? |

Those are already done ^^ I have made a calculation with the numbers of a friend of mine, VinoBob, and calculated the kinetic energy on the body when a bullet collides with it, with these values i adjusted the hit_power and drawback power of the weapon to its weight, size, calibre and velocity of the bullet |
