i get this error, or one about "ran out of memory" despite the fact i have 32 gigs of ram, and i have atleast 10 gigs on all my drives, and like 70-60 free gigabytes on the installation drive of stalker Shadow of chernobyl. i need help PLEASE!
edit: although i managed too remove the crashing, i am curious, how doo i start up a car engine? i got in one and i see a yellow bar but i dont see the keybind for ignition in the controls section of the menu
This crash is "normal". It happens to me sometimes too. I do not know the rason, but i think that it concerns teh lilimts of engine. However this mod is a little heavy.
To start an engine: enter the vehicle and press the button Enter on your keyboard. If you want to change it, go to options and find "turn on"
N.B: I don't know what that yellow bar you say is.
So the question is not your pc, but engine limit
ok, thanks. i did have settings set too maximum, so that might have been it.
also, isn tthe "detector1" item, when equipped, supposed to beep when near anomalies? i have it equipped but i dont hear any indication unlike in vanilla stalker shoc
and, in the pause menu when ingame, the oblivion lost and shadow of chernobyl buttons are unavailable as they are too low on the list, i think. even using arrow keys and enter too try and select them does nothing
Now i don't remember exactly, maybe detector 1 is for radiation.
The button Oblivion Lost and shadow of chernobyl are they are just for style.
However the crash owing to 'out of memory' could happen regardless of settings. It is a question concerning engine and the mod.
aalright, thanks for the response. it is working very well for me right now.
however, i now have issue where i crash when a blowout happens. the screen effects start, it fades too black and then comes back, and then crashes.
there is no logs, the xray.log is completely empty.
Sorry if I can't be on time, but I will try to check.
The point is that work now takes me a long time.

in this period i'm working on my patch. during a test i saw that blowout work for me. Did you install an alternative weather mod from extra?
in any case i will do further tests.
