It's an automatically repeating mission that takes 0.5 months to complete after gathering resources. It's a quick way to use your ice mines to increase the planet's water level with the aid of a spaceport. Research in the space tree for 750 RP. With the Home DLC, the game now melts ice veins automatically once they get warm enough. Every 1000 ice melted this way raises the water level 1m. This project now only serves to speed up this process.
