Spring : Modern Warfare is based on Spring 1944. So it will be a modification the goal is to add "near futur" combat to Spring 1944. New units and new factions as well as some working on the gameplay will be the target. It will feature the classic Spring 1944 gamemodes.
Anti - Vehicle weapon modul, code works except of some little things. The model is not scaled yet. Texture is missing as well.
I like the model, but it doesn't seem to fit in the "modern warfare" concept, unless this is maybe somewhat in the not too distant future, since it is not a real life unit? Artillery cannons aren't used so much as anti vehicle weapons any more, since missiles and rockets are much more effective, but they are still used as indirect fire support. I am not criticizing the game, it looks good and promising, I just hoped to bring about some thoughtful planning on the game design.
thanks for the comment, you are correct with what you said. These bad boys are for protection in the base or for other buildings outside your base which need protection. I am also sure that missiles especially extremely fast traveling missiles will see action in future combat. Anyways I still think that projectiles can travel faster then a missile. Next to that I didn't sized the model correctly thats why it looks that massive. ^_^
Shells can't home in on moving targets, which is why in the late 20th century missiles became the choice of anti tank weapons. You should discuss some game plan concepts with the s44 team and some of the other arm chair generals, I am sure they have plenty of good ideas to share, even if you don't want to use them all.
I really like to share with other people, I think It's a good idea to discuss that with the s44 team.
