I made a more grisly version of RDND for fun; I added a bunch of gory death animations and really tried to keep in the feel of the original Doom. I reverted the Cacodemon back to it's original vanilla colour scheme as opposed to the Brutal Doom colour scheme. I added an XDeath and an alternate XDeath for the Cacodemon as well. I added some new death animations for the Shotgun Guy, Zombieman, Imp, Cacodemon, Demon, Baron of Hell, I could go on, but that's kinda pointless to me IMHO. Anyway, this is the first version. I made this mod entirely out of fun (like Gritty Doom) and unlike Gritty Doom, it doesn't suck. It's actually pretty fun, and it's really great with my other mod (pk_anim4) which I do plan on uploading sometime soon as an addon. It's really just Perkristian's weapons animations left untouched except the pistol animation is flipped and I added an slide going back animation. Subtle touch but extremely satisfying. This is version 1.0 of Sporadic Deaths and Decorations. It comes packaged with the Droplets Blood mod (highly recommended), my custom sub-mod of Perkristian's animations, my sub-mod of the PC Caulking Sounds mod (which includes Doom 4 weapon sounds for the Chainsaw, Pistol, Shotgun, and Chaingun.), and also GZ-QTilt which is a fun mod if you want a little bit of a Quake-style camera bob. the problem with brutal doom is the intensity of the enemies.. few shots in the head would kill it (example, cacodemon would die in ONE supershotgun blast while in vanila it takes THREE) Real doomers need the gore of brutal doom with the enemy diffculty of vanilla doom.
Yea boi, the cacodemon is 2 weak on BD, but that's good for other people, becuz it makes moar easier, but it's bad for other people becuz it does moar easier
