The real concept of Spider-Man: Dynamic Forces is to take the Quake 3 engine and totally change it into a true 3d action/adventure based fighter, with complete freedom of movement and a diverse fighting system. Also planned are a realistic slinging system, incorporating gravity and other real physics effects. Along with these systems, we hope to have a broad range of environments and game play modes to take full advantage of the game. Additional things added a throwable object system and indepth Melee.

I'm also going to give you guys a preview of our new programmer, nightz's coding update

-gg ingame with glider, pumpkin bombs
his bombs are detected by spidey sense and when he gets entangled by web, he falls

-coding status update:

->fixed final bugs on spidey sense, so now its fully working, even for other character or weapons/shots
->got gg ingame with everything it needs, some smoke on his glider and added some shader for it too
->fixed some throwable code, just waiting for someone send me a giant trash can model(done)
-> fixed some class stuff, added some MOD for weapons/attacks
->item drop code disabled
->fixed anims bug
->new ui binds ( u can now bind attacks , block and swing on menu)
->new ui being worked
->fixed webwrap model+shader, fully working

Still missing for RC1

->2 maps(in progress currently by ElementX and Scorpion)
->Spidey, Scorpion, Carnage and GG animations with the new anim cfg.
->some shader work
->some UI work
->more skins
->more code(carnage attacks, carnage code, power system code, new HUD, a lot of bug fixes)

That's all for now, but stay tuned for a new layout in the near future, and some progress on our latest maps(which are posted on the forums, very wip however)

I'd also like to apologize for the mod being such an on and off progress throughout the years, and the team has agreed this time that if progress stops completely for over a couple of months, all the latest work will be released(which means the current build will be on the site, either way, the fans win)

Also, I'd like to request we are still looking for a 2d artist/texture artist/shader artist(preferably all 3 in 1)
and an experienced animator who can export into q3
