A total overhaul mod which strives to bring about a more realistic tone to the game. Completely reworking gunnery, replacing the stock models with high fidelity ones, and adding numerous aircraft & vessels take this game to a whole other level.

Greetings, SpecTRe.

Came back to VASP to play the UK campaign (only one I hadn't done yet)

Used your latest mod and noticed some incompleteness in the mod, some weird gameplay things (CW ships missing catapults(or slingshots), no early cargo_ship so all the convoys are 2 DE's plus 1 or 2 oil_tanker).

Decided that UK is not ready to entertain me (in-game) yet and so here I am ready to change some digits in some csv's
Also eyeing your models and wondering if I could alter them in Unity to fill in the correct Dutch ships that played a role in the Pacific. Or doesn't that work?

Any work I can do for you?

So this is where you posted! So much to having notifications turned on.

I think the CW float planes may be an aircraft issue. I think I removed the vanilla aircraft in favor of the new aircraft and their models which caused an issue with ships not having (or malfunctioning) aircraft. I'm not sure about the cargo fleets, the only things that were changed around those were duplicating some CSV data. I'll take a look at these toward the end of this week and see about rolling a hotfix out.

As far as models, I don't know if you can unpack the model file in unity or not. If you can, I don't have any issue with you adding your own models. If not send them to me and I'll add them in on my end.

For work there are linedrawings/models I'm having trouble sourcing and either would help greatly. I'm lacking all the IJN subs, the Siren float planes, a decent polygon Ise class (pre-hybrid conversion), and the CW Walrus flying boat. Line drawings, models, or 3d scans of scale models would all be welcome, especially for the IJN subs. If you can 3d model any of these that would be even better. lol

The plain cargo ships had '1' as earliest tech-level so wouldn't show at start-up of a campaign (simple csv change to fix).

As far as I can tell, I can't unpack a 3d model in unity, just alter the pre-existing elements like guns and AA. The Dutch ships were look-a-like of the CW ones with slightly different AA-platform and a different flag in the mast. Biggest difference was the equipment inside and that I can handle with the csv-files.

Will search for your missing models and ask around in the 'actual' modelling community of my former ship-mates, maybe they came across something.

Thanks hugobosss, those profiles will be a great help.

DreadX10 With the profiles of the IJN subs that Hugo provided the only thing missing would be the top-down perspective to get the curves right. Pictures of physical models would be fine for this too since they're scaled.

I should be able to find or make the Dutch models if they're basically CW clones, though minor factions won't come about until after the big three are done. Thanks for finding the CSV issue. I'll get that patched and post a hotfix.
