OOOooook. Its now time to reveal the truth about the misterious 'black thingy' on top of mk14. Damn your comments are so funny trying to guess what is it :D :D :D :D ....
Ok so the truth is very simple:
The mk14 rifle was made fro me in a very strange way, using lod1 as a 3d scope for zoom animations. It would all be ok except 1 Very important thing: when you zoom at first person you can actually see through the model and it looks VEEERY Ugly believe me. I couldnt get the guys to fix it, so I desided to me a little creative in this situation. What you see in the picture and what you guys call the black box (ha hahahahha) is actually a compilation of shotgun shells painted black, which were assembled in what do you think? Not g max not maya, no 3ds max but.... the good old BF2editor... ahahhahahahahaha.
I had to place something to cover the model mistake so here it is, a temporary replacement for a holographic sight. Offcourse I have better models but they have to be converted first.
We mentioned before the gun itself it is great, but the sight isn't.
The sight isn't good at all.. But the gun is.
I agree with them, the sights look like poorly made (sorry) but the gun looks awsome.
and the "black thing" is suposed to be a holographic sight?I think it looks like this: Stores.blacklandtactical.com
