SourceForts is a Half Life 2: Deathmatch mod where Combine and Rebels face off in capture-the-flag action with a big twist. Players build bases and other structures with blocks and plates in the "build phase" to protect themselves and their team's flag (which is actually a ball), and then duke it out and try to capture the enemy's flag in the "combat phase". Once the combat phase has ended, it's back to build, where players can repair, improve, and change their creations to ready them for the next combat phase.

The SourceForts development team is very proud to present version 1.9.2 of SourceForts. This version stands as a stabilised version of the previous 1.9.1 version with all the known critical bugs - including that pesky spawn bug - completely resolved. The blocks now feature a more efficient, optimised normal map, both improving their looks and increasing performance dramatically.

Courtesy of Valve, the latest version features an official trailer that is currently being released via Steam media, and you can view it by pasting Run into your address bar, or instead navigating to the 'Game Trailers' section in your client. It is a great honour for us to be the first 3rd party modification to be featured on Steam media.

It's not important, but remove the "http://" from the steam media link to get it to work.

I can attest to the optimisations. I donwloaded 1.9.2 a couple of days ago and the performance and lag issues are a thing of the past - even when running over, crouching under, or generally calculating collisions with the blocks. Sterling work.

Only problem is that you guys really need to fix the grenade + grav gun RPG!

I had to change the steam link from a link to just a cut and paste thing. The Moddb code thing was automatically putting the http:// on the start whether I liked it for not.

As for the grenade+grav gun thing... that's a feature :-P
