S.V.N. Modding Base, is a basic Singleplayer
mini project created to help novice modders
and development teams who do not have, for whatever reason, the programmer.
Mod base has many customize parameters selected by
different play styles, be it global conversion is based on the abundance of
effects and shooting, or tactical shooter with stealth elements...
So what is the S.V.N. Mod-Base ?

7 new Npc: Houndeye, Bullsquid, Gargantua, Big Momma (Gonarch),
HECU Soldier, Alien Controller, Alien Grunt.
Iron-sight
On\off blur effect for iron-sight
Changing the player speed in iron-sight mode
Fixed issues with dynamic shadows (env_projectedtexture)
Updated rendering system for the old system of shadows
A in_game shader editor
L4D style item lighting
Mount games system (Source games)
Basic night-vision
Weapon drop feature
Ability to change the limits on the carrying of weapons
Ability to lower weapons while running
Advanced muzzleflash light effects
Option to disable auto-change current weapon with 0 ammo
Advanced shake effects while player run
Ability to disable the "lag effect" of weapon models
Ability to configure the relationships with friendly Npc
Ability to specify the position of the flashlight to weapon muzzle position
Ability to enable player animations
Player model shadow render
Player model world model shadow render
Attachment test of the player camera
Basic leaning (left\right)
Health regeneration
B-hop ability
LongJump (jump to a long distance like in hl1)
Opportunity to lower weapon on ladder

I take it source code won't be released. That's fine, still useful release.
An FGD would come in handy.
FGD is coming in next version... with more additions :D
