Happy New Year! To start things off with a bang, I present to you the 1st update of 2014 for the Anarchy Arcade prototype. This update brings some very fun and useful features into the mix, and also fixes an issue that doubles the resolution of all images!

The last update of 2013 had a bug that caused textures to still appear pixelated and low resolution. This bug has been squashed and now all textures ACTUALLY appear as x2 the resolution. Here is a comparison to show the difference:
The backend has been upgraded to support JavaScript spawners as addons. What does this mean? Well, if you're familiar with how easy it already is to import movies and games from TheMovieDb.org [video] and AllGame.com [video], this new upgrade allows similar support to be quickly & easily added for any website. If you wanted to, you could even write your own addon JavaScript spawner for your favorite website! Still not clear? Well, keep reading because the rest of the features that come with this new 2014 update are a result of this important backend upgrade!
Do you like great indie games? Maybe you like bad indie games? Well, GameJolt has tons of both! And now, for the first time ever, you can browse the GameJolt catalog of 100% free games and spawn them in your virtual arcade with a single mouse click. The foundation of this update was created as part of the GameJolt New Year's Game Jam, so it's only fitting that they were the first site to receive support through the new JavaScript spawner system. Shout out to all the other jammers!
Over 31.1 million people use Netflix in the US alone, so to make it easier to use with Anarchy Arcade you can now browse your Netflix catalog in-game and spawn your favorite movies & TV shows into your 3D arcade with a single click. The shortcut will appear with HD movie posters and video trailers, and launching it will play the movie just like you're always used to seeing.
Why stop at movies? Hulu has more than 70,000 full TV episodes from nearly 2,500 TV series. Now you can browse, watch, and spawn all of them entirely in-game on the virtual screens. Or you can launch the shortcuts to watch them just like you are always used to!

- Fixed an issue that caused textures to appear pixelated and low-resolution
- Fixed an issue that caused clicking on the PLAY and MENU buttons to do nothing
Your guys' mod is amazing, I have the last version.. But you really need multiplayer, I know it's 99.9% impossible, but watching something alone is one thing, watching it with friends, or showing friends your collection of media junkieology... priceless.
Hey x-Fourty. There actually is multiplayer. :) All you have to do is check the "Multiplayer" box on the Start Arcade menu.
Like you said, it IS 99.9% impossible to make the multiplayer work as we'd all want it to, but I think it comes pretty dang close.
Still, most of the time people play in singleplayer mode. So PM me on Steam and I'll host up one of my arcades and give you a tour. :D
