S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl mod |

This mod (named "Narodnaya Solyanka 2016" by the developers) was developed only in Russian. I've personally hand-translated the mod to English. It also contains a third-party weapon pack, updated textures, shaders, addons and many personal fixes.

Hello Bosses,

The whiny Indian is back after a long hiatus! Back with some bucks that got him an additional SSD and he reinstalled Windows 7 X64 on it. Life is good!

I tried launching the standalone S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games in this installation but, surprisingly, none works. Why, I fail to understand as except for Lost Alpha, all my others are not installed but extracted in their respective folders and a new Windows should not have any bearing on them.

I did not want to mess with Narodnaya Solyanka, even for an iota, so am asking here before I reinstall anything, as I have put in nearly 1000 hours in it!

  1. Do I install my SoC at a new location and go ahead with the NS unzipping and move the save games in the new folder ?
    Or,
  2. Do I install SoC and copy paste the entirety of existing NS folders in it?
    Or, what?

Please guide.
