Get Around the Timer at NPP1 Thread - Narodnaya Solyanka mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl

Want to take your time going thru npp1? No timer to worry about? Try this.

From Pripyat go to NPP1. Keep going until the timer starts then go back & contnue searching the zone.
Eventually you will get a transition to the wish granter. Go there & clean it all out. (good to wait till you also get told about Strelok's transporter which is next to the wish granter) When done head up to NPP1. First thing I do is grab the medical bag. When done you can go to Pripyat & do a couple of jobs or grab all your loot & use the transporter.

Be ready for a few surprises.

Have you tried running the "Sneak into Sarc" task in reverse? When I first got the "X-10 to Sarc" transition I hadn't been to CNPP 1 yet but I couldn't resist snooping around. All the Monolith guys on the lower levels were facing the wrong way. But after picking off around 10 of them I chickened out, dreading the possibility of breaking the game.

As long as you don't go to npp2 you'll be OK. Either way will do it. So before going to nnp2 make sure npp1 has been done. From where you were it is safe to go to npp1.

Just don't forget the medical bag

I did CNPP1 long after CNPP2 without issue. However, I only went to the CNPP1-to-Sarcophagus transition (I wanted to get the task off my PDA).

Good to know. I thought going to npp2 before nnp1 would break the story line.
